The Old Seaport Inn was built by Jacob Gibble, a local merchant in 1866 and now holds a plaque "The Gibble Delamar House 1866" by the Town of Beaufort. Now, more than 100 historic homes are located within the village that was once home to Blackbeard the pirate.
We are one block from the Beaufort Historic Site, the Old Burial Grounds and a few steps to the board walk, shopping and dining. Just park your car walk and enjoy our beautiful and charming town.
